Today we had a lot to harvest thanks to the really warm and weird winter weather. Farmer Barbara talked to the classes about the pests in the garden (lots of aphids and cutworms).
Farmers Caleb and I harvested Swiss chard, kale, sweet peas, carrots, cauliflower, and beets. We delivered them to their classrooms & are looking forward to next week's chef, who will be teaching the young chefs at the school the best way to use those veggies. Ms. Christine says she might even come up with a dip recipe!

See you soon!

What we did:
- Harvested
What you can do:
- Look out for garden pests and drive ladybugs, spiders, and other good bugs in their direction.
- Think about what you'd like to cook from the garden. (I'm making stuffed cabbage, yum.)
- Plan your beds for spring.
See you soon!
